WHY THE WORD OF GOD? PT 2

Spread the love

(Purpose and Result-Oriented)

Reference: Isaiah 55:8-12

“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: IT SHALL NOT RETURN UNTO ME VOID, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”

Isaiah 55:11 KJV

God initiates a profound journey with the Prophet Isaiah into His mind and original intent for His people. It’s captivating to realize that no amount of our thinking can match that of God. His thoughts are deep and unsearchable. He declares, “For my THOUGHTS are not your THOUGHTS, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord…..So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth.” – Isaiah 55:8,11 KJV

God explicitly teaches that His thoughts are His Word. This revelation is wonderful; it signifies that no word comes out of the mouth of God without careful consideration. It’s no wonder He told Jeremiah that before he was a clot of blood in his mother’s womb, He knew him. This means that God carefully considered what his life should be and spoke it before time in eternity. God took time, though living in eternity, to consider you and what is best for you. His Thoughts are His Words! The Word of God reflects what God thinks about you, not what you or others think of you. Mediocrity is rampant in the Church because only a few understand what God thinks about them. Some may say you are a failure, but the crucial question is, “What does God think about you?” God considered in Himself to create man, and when He was done, He saw that “It was Very Good.” Understanding this revelation positions you in life for a beautiful existence. Nothing will change God’s mind about you because He took the time to think about you. “For I know the THOUGHTS that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of PEACE (prosperity and health), and not of evil, to give you an EXPECTED END.” – Jeremiah 29:11 KJV emphasized.

God’s thoughts are His words, and His Words are designed for Results. He declares that the Words coming out of His mouth do not return void. It means that the Word of God is Purpose and Goal-oriented, always leading to an expected end. The Word of God is not fallacious nor filled with enticing words. It is geared toward a desired outcome. If you believe God’s word concerning your life, you remain indifferent to what comes your way because, no matter what, it will lead you to where it says it will. The Word of God cannot be obstructed in its objective to fulfill what it says it will do or has done.

“You are set for a victorious life in Christ as long as you have this revelation in your spirit, that God’s Word is always Purpose-Driven and unto an expected end, and nothing can obstruct it.”

“For this PURPOSE the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” – 1 John 3:8 KJV

You are blessed.
