Declare this: “I shall live and not die!”

Spread the love

Exhortation:

Beloved Brothers and Sisters,

As we stand on the threshold of each new day, let us be reminded of the transformative power encapsulated in the resolute declaration, “I shall live and not die.” These words echo the finished works of Christ on the cross, where He triumphed over sin, death, and every form of darkness. Through His sacrifice, we are not only granted eternal life but also empowered to walk in victory over every evil that seeks to ensnare us.

The finished works of Christ are not merely historical events but living realities that we appropriate by faith. When Jesus declared, “It is finished” (John 19:30), He sealed our liberation from the grip of sin and death, offering us the gift of abundant life. In Him, we find the fulfillment of God’s promises and the assurance of victory over every scheme of the enemy.

“I shall live and not die” is not a declaration of self-reliance or human strength but a profound acknowledgment of our identity in Christ. Through His finished works, we are made more than conquerors (Romans 8:37), heirs of God’s kingdom (Romans 8:17), and recipients of His abundant grace (Ephesians 2:4-5).

As we appropriate the finished works of Christ in our lives, we are delivered from all evil. The power of His resurrection empowers us to overcome every obstacle, every fear, and every form of bondage that seeks to hold us captive. In Him, we find freedom from sin’s grip, healing for our brokenness, and restoration for our souls.

Beloved, let us embrace this declaration with unwavering faith, knowing that in Christ, we are made new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17), empowered to walk in the fullness of His victory. As we stand on the promises of God, let us declare with boldness, “I shall live and not die,” for in Him, we have been set free from every form of evil.

May the finished works of Christ be our anchor in the storms of life, our hope in times of uncertainty, and our assurance of victory in every battle we face. Let us walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has secured for us, knowing that nothing can separate us from His love and the abundant life He offers.

In His glorious name, we declare and seal this exhortation. Amen.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,

In the authority of Your name, I declare, “I shall live and not die!” I anchor my faith in Your promises, knowing that You are the giver of life and the sustainer of my soul. Your Word declares in Psalm 118:17, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.”

Lord, I reject every spirit of fear and doubt that seeks to hinder Your purpose for my life. I refuse to be bound by the limitations of this world, for I am a child of the Most High God, and Your power resides within me.

I declare that Your plans for me are plans for good and not for evil, to give me a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). I trust in Your unfailing love and faithfulness to fulfill every promise spoken over my life.

Lord, empower me to walk in the fullness of Your promises, embracing the abundant life that You have prepared for me. Strengthen my faith, O Lord, and fill me with Your Holy Spirit, that I may boldly declare Your goodness and proclaim Your works to the ends of the earth.

I thank You, Lord, for the victory that is mine in Christ Jesus. I thank You for the assurance that nothing can separate me from Your love and purpose for my life. I declare with boldness and confidence, “I shall live and not die,” for You are with me always, even to the end of the age.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
